Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 128) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health in over 30,000 patients. His technology is also being used in commercial products to improve sustainability and renewable energy. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Brown University, Saveetha University, Hebei University of Technology, UFPI, and others. Dr. Webster has numerous awards including: 2020, World Top 2% Scientist by Citations (PLOS); 2020, SCOPUS Highly Cited Research (Top 1% Materials Science and Mixed Fields); 2021, Clarivate Top 0.1% Most Influential Researchers (Pharmacology and Toxicology); 2022, Best Materials Science Scientist by Citations (Research.com); and is a fellow of over 8 societies. Prof. Webster is a former President of the U.S. Society for Biomaterials and has over 1,350 publications to his credit with over 55,000 citations. He was recently nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Prof. Webster also recently formed a fund to support Nigerian student research opportunities in the U.S.

Sergey Suchkov was born in the City of Astrakhan, Russia, in a family of dynasty medical doctors. In 1980, graduated from Astrakhan State Medical University with MD. From 1980 through 1983 has been working as Res Associate, and from 1983 through 1985 as Senior Res Associate at the Inst of Medicical Enzymology, USSR Academy of Medical Sciences. In 1985, maintained his PhD at the Sechenov University. From 1986 through 1989, has been working as Senior Res Associ- ate at the Koltzov Institute of Dev Biology, USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1989 through 1994, was a Director of the Division of Clinical Immunology &Immunobiotechnology, Helmholtz Eye Res Institute in Moscow. In 1989-1993, was trained at the NEI, NIH, Bethesda, MD, USA, and Wills Eye Hos- pital, Philadelphia, PA, USA, as well as at some of the British universities on the invi- tation of the Royal Society for Immunology. In 1993-1996, was an Executice Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, Biomedi- cal Science, an int journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. From 1994 through 2006, was a Director (full-time job) of the Division for Clinical Immunology & Immunobiotechnology, Vladimiskii Moscow Clinical Research Insti- tute (MONIKI), and The Clinical Immunology Physician-in-Chief (quater-time job) of the Moscow region. In 2002, maintained his Doctor’s Degree at the National Institute of Immunology, Russia. In 1999, was working as a Clinical Immunology Physician (quater-time job) at the “Ehinacea” Clinical Center in Moscow, Russia. From 2006 through 2014, was The First Vice-President (full-time job) responsible for Personalized and Precision Immunology of The University of World Politics and Law, Moscow, Russia. From 2000 through 2007, was collaborating with some US and European Healthcare and Pharma companies (half-time job) staying in Moscow, Russia. From 2003 through 2021, was a Professor (quator-time job) of the Dept for Clinical Human Pathology of Sechenov University,Moscow, Russia. From 2007 through 2021, is a Professor (quator-time job) of the Dept for Clinical Al- lergology & Immunology of A.I. Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine & Dentistry, Moscow, Russia. From 2014 through 2021, was a Professor and Director (full-time job) of the Dept (since 2016 The Center) for Personalized & Precision Medicine of Sechenov Univer- sity,Moscow, Russia. Jaideep Srivastava is Professor of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota, where he directs a laboratory focusing on research in Social Analytics, and Digital Health. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and has been an IEEE Distinguished Visitor and a Distinguished Fellow of Allina’s Center for Healthcare Innovation. He holds a joint appointment as Professor in the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Minnesota, and is Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST) at IIT Kanpur. He has been awarded the Distinguished Research Contributions Award of the PAKDD, for his lifetime contributions to the field of machine learning and data mining. He has supervised 46 PhD dissertations, and over 70 MS theses. He has also mentored a number of post-doctoral fellows and junior scientists in the industry and academia. He has authored or co-authored over 475 papers in journals and conferences, and awarded 6 patents. Seven of his papers have won best paper awards, and he has a Google Scholar citation count of 31,752, h-index of 65, and an i-10 index of 282.. Dr. Srivastava’s research has been supported by a broad range of government agencies, including NSF, NASA, ARDA, DARPA, IARPA, NIH, CDC, US Army, US Air Force, and MNDoT; and industries, including IBM, United Technologies, Eaton, Honeywell, Cargill, Allina and Huawei. He is a regular participant in the evaluation committees of various US and international funding agencies, on the organizing and steering committees of various international scientific forums, and on the editorial boards of a number of journals.

Dr. Ítala Marx is a food scientist with 14 years of experience in food industry, acting as team leader, as well as in academia as researcher and professor. She is strongly committed to developing innovative solutions integrating cutting-edge science with technology, health and sustainability. Ítala’s objective is to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial applications, aiming to create positive environmental, social and economic impacts. Ítala is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow working on the Phenols4Health project at the University of Córdoba. This initiative focuses on the health benefits and applications of phenolic compounds from extra virgin olive oil. She received the EuChemS FCD Young Researcher Award in 2023, in recognition of her contributions in the field. She serves as a guest editor and reviewer for several prestigious journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Wiley, reflecting her expertise and standing in the scientific community. Ítala is also a guest lecturer and frequently speaks at scientific and non-scientific events, sharing her knowledge and passion for food science. Ítala’s research interests are diverse and interdisciplinary, focusing on areas such as virgin olive oil, the Mediterranean diet, phenolic compounds, food chemistry, precision nutrition, epigenetics, metabolomics and sustainability. She is particularly interested in the valorisation of bio-waste and by-products from the agri-food industry, exploring ways to improve health and sustainability through innovative approaches. Ítala continues to contribute to the advancement of food science, with a particular emphasis on making sustainable practices and health-oriented innovations accessible and impactful. She desires to develop innovative solutions based on the most current science, combining technology, health, and sustainability.

Dr. Daniele Contini got his M.Sc. in Physics in 1994 and his Ph.D. in Energy Engineering in 1999 from the University of Florence. He became Researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric Sciences and Climate of the National Research Council (ISAC-CNR in Lecce) in 2001 and he is now Research Director at ISAC-CNR. He is coordinator of the macroarea of ISAC-CNR research in Atmosphericcomposition, climate forcing and air quality. His research activity is mainly experimental and focused on atmospheric sciences. Currently, research interests could be summarized in four main lines: (i) Identification and characterization of atmospheric particulate matter sources, using both high-resolution temporal measurements and receptor models based on the chemical composition of the particulate, and their spatial and temporal trends; (ii) health and toxicological effects of atmospheric particulate matter due to both natural and anthropogenic sources; (iii) study of atmospheric particulate dynamics in the surface boundary layer with particular attention to nucleation, emission, and deposition processes. (iv) analysis and parameterization of the dispersion of atmospheric pollutants also using physical modelling on a reduced scale in a wind tunnel and/or in a hydraulic vein.Throughout his career he has established numerous and successful research collaborations with leading international groups in the field of atmospheric and climate sciences. He had coordination responsibility in a number of research projects at regional, national, and international level. Dr. Daniele Contini is President of the Italian Aerosol Society (IAS), since 2018, and he isChair of the working group “Atmospheric Aerosol Studies” of the European Aerosol Assembly since 2022. He is PI of the Environmental-Climate Observatory of Lecce, regional station of the GAW/WMO-Global Atmosphere Watch network and national facility of the ACTRIS network.

Murat Aytas was born in 1981 in Istanbul. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in the same city, he graduated from the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication, Selçuk University, where he began his undergraduate studies in 2000. In 2006, he started his master’s studies in the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Department of Radio-Television at the same university and completed his degree with a thesis titled “The End of Space and the Transformation of Objects in Communication Technologies.” His research interests can be grouped into four main areas: (i) identifying and characterizing binge-watching behaviors, especially through studies on university students, examining the causes and consequences of this behavior; (ii) the impact of binge-watching and social media consumption on public health, including psychological and physical health effects and associated risk factors; (iii) the impact of social media platforms on psychology and user behavior, focusing on the relationship between social media consumption habits and individuals’ psychological well-being; (iv) analyzing health information and misinformation disseminated on social media, with a focus on developing verification and education-based models to promote access to reliable information for public health. Currently, Aytas serves as an associate professor in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication, Selçuk University. As an interdisciplinary academic, he teaches courses in communication research, television, digital media platforms, new media, social media, Twitter, TV dramas, social networks, and cinema.
